Cassie Yoder lives with and works for an older couple the
Keims. Her job becomes much for
challenging when the Keims daughter, whom they haven’t seen in 20+ years, dies
and her children are brought to the Keims by a Social Worker and their older
brother, Mason, who has been trying to hold everything together since the woman
died. They live in an Amish community in
Haven, KS. To complicate things, Mason
doesn’t know who his father is but suspects he is an Amish man in the same
community. This had a very interesting story
line and the characters were all very likable and compelling. This author always tells good tales and I
recommend this book and this author. It
looks like there will be a sequel and I’m looking forward to reading it!
I have voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this
book which I received from NetGalley.
