Live Without You by Sarah Grace Grzy

This story is a novella by Sarah Grace Grzy about love, loss and grace. Ezra is a paramedic. He has loss in his life (his mother died a few years earlier). After a shooting in the park, he becomes reaquainted with the sister of his best friend, whom he hasn't seen in several years. She has suffered loss as well. Her brother (Ezra's friend) was killed by a gunshot a couple of years after Ezra last saw him and now Piper has been shot by a random shooter. As she recovers, Ezra helps her get through it since she is a loner and only knows one other person in town besides Ezra. It seems to me there are a lot of improbable circumstances in this story that are not well explained, but it is a good story for processing the idea of God's grace and his unflagging love for all of his children. It was well written and the characters were people we would all want to have as friends.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.
