Grace Zook has been training horses with her father for years and is an expert in her own right, but her father wants to retire and is reluctant to leave the business with her and he also needs to get the endorsement of a breeder who is bringing them a thoroughbred to train. He hires a horse training expert from another town to come and help train the horse. Isaac King, known as the Amish Cowboy, wants to relocate with his small daughter and earn money to buy his own home so he doesn't have to live with his deceased wife's family any longer. He arrives with his daughter and a desire to do a good job for them, but Grace is upset by not being allowed to do this on her own so there is an immediate fly in the ointment.
I really enjoyed this rather unconventional Amish romance. It was fun to read.
I have voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book that I received from NetGalley. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.
